Last week my son graduated college. A great dream has come true! I am so excited about him and his future. He desires to help feed the world. He already has a job with a great startup company that has tremendous worldwide potential. He has learned correct principles, seven steps principles, and applied them in his life.

In addition to Hancock Stories, a new creative endeavor was launched last week. Out of the blue, thoughts, ideas, inspirations, descended upon me in a surprising fashion. I don’t know how long it will take to get there, but we will. Story lines and scenes descended into my mind and heart. It was powerful. So real. My emotions were greatly overwhelmed. It seems hard to believe that fiction can become so alive.
For now, I am just calling it, “The Movie.” It will be somewhat like “Ben Hur” and “The Robe.”

The Les Brown story is so motivational and inspiring. His life has been a great dream come true. Les has worked hard, learned true principles, and applied them in this life. He is a living testament of Seven Steps principles, along with others. The influence of his mother on his life has been monumental. He credits her for who he is today.
Les Brown’s life itself is a true testament to the power of positive thinking and the infinite human potential. Leslie C. Brown was born on February 17, 1945, in an abandoned building on a floor in Liberty City, a low-income section of Miami, Florida, and adopted at six weeks of age by Mrs. Mamie Brown, a 38 year-old single woman, cafeteria cook and domestic worker, who had very little education or financial means, but a very big heart and the desire to care for Les Brown and his twin brother, Wesley Brown. Les Brown calls himself “Mrs. Mamie Brown’s Baby Boy” and claims “All that I am and all that I ever hoped to be, I owe to my mother”.
In the fifth grade, Les Brown was mistakenly declared “educably mentally retarded” and placed back in the fourth grade and later failed the eight grade, due to his inattention to school work, his restless energy, and his teachers’ failure to recognize his true potential. He was referred to as “D .T.” for “Dumb Twin”. The label and stigma severely damaged his self-esteem for many years. Mamie Brown’s belief in her son’s ability to achieve whatever he set his mind to achieving made a difference in his life. “Her strength and character are my greatest inspiration, always have been and always will be.”
I applaud all that Les Brown has done, and will do. I admire his example. I believe that all can learn much from him. I hope to work with Les in the future, and with The Seven Steps Foundation.

The honorable Judge Louis Meisinger has accomplished many great things in his life. His legal work with Disney is legendary. His work with Sheppard, Mullin, Richter, and Hampton carried on the tradition. When someone needed the right entertainment attorney Lou was the one to see, and still probably is.
I have a sense that there is yet something great for Lou Meisinger to do. I believe that he is the one who can put together a partnership that will make big changes in this world. I hope that he does. He is one who can get Ross Gibson on board. I believe that Lou Meisinger is needed. He has much to offer. I can see great good coming from a partnership with him, Ross Gibson, Dan Drew, and others.
I hope that something will happen that helps him decide to use his great gifts and talents for one thing more, for something far greater than most could imagine, for his posterity and the rest of us in this world. I believe in Lou Meisinger. He is needed. I hope that he will answer this call.

When my children were younger I started telling them bedtime stories about Hancock, a bicycle, who was like other children, liked to have fun, went on adventures, had a great imagination, etc. He was different though, after all he was a bicycle. The stories were great, imaginative, fun…. Since then, I have started telling Hancock stories to my grandchildren, and to others’ children. Every child I have told Hancock stories to has loved them.
There is “Hancock and the City Under the Sea,” “Hancock Goes to the Water Park,” “Hancock and the Wild Animal Park,”… (the list goes on of Hancock going to different places, and doing different things, with his friends Bobby and Eleanor, and sometimes others), and there are the series with ongoing episodes, like “Hancock and Horace the Giant,” “Hancock and the Orb Planet,” “Hancock and the Apple Hill Portal,” “Hancock and Sammy the Great White Shark”….
Hancock is good in science, and has invented an interesting device called the imagination ring, among other things. His buddy Bobby is a techo genius that has invented ways for Hancock to transform when needed, so that he can do the things that he and his friends want to do.
Recently, I have felt a need and desire to record good Hancock stories to share with others. Soon, Hancock stories will be available at www.hancockstories.com, a podcast setup, and other means. Eventually, I see a radio show, books, TV shows, and even children’s movies of Hancock story episodes.
I am very excited about this. The creative juices are really flowing when I have a group of kids gathered and start telling a Hancock story. The best stories are when the kids interact and tell me what happened next. Sometimes, they know exactly what was going to happen. I keep wondering how they know this.
I look forward to creating and sharing great Hancock stories for all who want to hear them. As the following and audience grows, of kids and adult kids (parents) who listen to and love Hancock stories, it will be a great dream come true.

Oprah Winfrey is finding new and exciting ways to connect with others. Her love and desire to help, teach, and inspire is finding expression in webcasts, through emails, Facebook, Twitter, and Skype.
“That was my vision of what this network could be,” she said. “You’re interacting with people, you’re on TV, you’re saying stuff that you think is meaningful, you’re not just wasting people’s time, and people are interacting with us at the same time. It’s just a fantastic experience.”
I like what I see in OWN, and in what Oprah Winfrey is doing. I applaud her efforts, and expect great things from her and her team. I love her enthusiasm.
The world, and technology, is changing rapidly. I see much good coming from future advancements and inventions. I believe in the Seven Steps, and look forward to using all the means available to share them with others. Perhaps, we will “meet” someday through a future “webcast” of one kind or another. I look forward to gaining from your wisdom and insights.

Steven Spielberg has got me thinking, smiling, laughing, etc., many times through his creations. I like so much of what he has done. His life seems to be a great dream come true story. I don’t know about you, but I look forward to more that is worthwhile, entertaining, and of benefit from Steven Spielberg, and his team.
I have been learning that great things happen from collaboration. I can’t do it all myself. No one can. Perhaps, the producer team of Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall joining with Spielberg and Dreamworks Studios will produce more great movies to enjoy. I certainly hope so.
Kennedy and Marshall have worked with Spielberg for decades on such signature films asRaiders of the Lost Ark, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Jurassic Park and Schindler’s List.
I can see a day when a partnership that I am putting together will work great miracles with Steven and the Dreamworks team. I look forward to that time. I am finding that the Seven Steps work. They are powerful. Amazing things have been happening in my life, and will continue to.
I encourage you to learn and apply the Seven Steps in your life. They are true, inspired, principles that work.

Rochelle Gores Fredston knows fashion, and uses it well to help a very worthy cause, the Children’s Institute, Inc. (CII). Her new charity, Philanthropic Society Los Angeles (PSLA), is dedicated to helping the Children’s Institute. Rochelle’s second annual Autumn fundraiser and fashion show, is coming up the end of October, on the 26th. I like what she is doing. There certainly is a big need for helping children, and their families, who experience the most difficult of circumstances.
Owner of Melrose fashion destination ARCADE Boutique, Rochelle Gores Fredston started The Autumn Party last year to raise money for Children’s Institute, which helps children who have been affected by violence in their homes or communities. Since 1906, CII has been serving at-risk children and families throughout Los Angeles and today reaches more than 17,000 children and families each year.
I can see The Seven Steps Foundation, and the Seven Steps, being of benefit to the Children’s Institute, and other organizations like it. There is a great need in our world, our country, our communities, our neighborhoods, and sometimes even our own homes. Kudos to Rochelle for all the good that she is doing. I desire to help out through The Seven Steps Foundation.

Wow, this little girl can rap–and sing. She can’t be more than five years old, maybe six. What an inspiration to see a young child sing her heart out and follow her dreams (with help of her mother of course… and where would any of us be without our mothers anyway…)

Edward James Olmos gave a speech on Tuesday 20 Sep 11, titled, “We’re All in the Same Gang,” The title alone speaks volumes. We are all in the same gang. We need to look after each other, help out, love. Life is about love. Edward does much to encourage others to choose good, and to stay away from the awfulness of today’s gangs.
Besides acting, Olmos is an influential activist and advocate in the Hispanic community. Many of his causes revolve around youth and their problems, including violence and gangs.
He frequently speaks to youth groups, particularly at-risk youth, about making the right choices in life, the importance of education and the risks of being involved in gangs.
Olmos has been the U.S. Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations Children’s Fund.
He is the executive director of the Lives of Hazard Project, a national gang-prevention program funded by the U.S. Department of Justice.
I believe that we are all in the same gang. I believe that all on earth are children of God. I desire to treat all as family, to love all as my own. I desire to encourage those affected by gangs to consider a better path, to have the strength to choose what is right, no matter the consequences. The Seven Steps Foundation can do much to help in this endeavor.
Thank you Edward for all the good you do. May good things continue to come into your life. May you continue to be a great influence for good on others.

Alec Gores has made great things happen in his life. Many great dreams appear to have come true. He started with nothing, and now he is a billionaire. His company, Gores Group, LLC., has a knack for taking underperforming companies and making them profitable. And it’s not just profit that he accomplishes, with his group he makes companies better, employees happier, and customers more satisfied.
Gores Group, LLC.’s recent acquisition of the Mexx clothing label, from Liz Claiborne, is another entry for them into the fashion industry. They can be expected to make good things come of this, as they have with their J. Mendel fashion line. Perhaps his daughter, Rochelle Gores Fredston, is a guiding source for them in this area. After all, she has a successful clothing line of her own, the Arcade Boutique, along with a must-see retail store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.
I like Alec’s desire to find out what employees want and need, and then to do something about it. His group seems to find a way to keep employees happy, and more productive. I also like his emphasis on customers; finding out what they want, and then letting that guide what the business does and doesn’t do. Keep the employees and customers happy.
Alec Gores and Gores Group, LLC. follows Seven Steps principles. They make choices, take risks, and learn from their mistakes. They have big dreams, goals, use their imagination, creativity, and then act. They believe in themselves, their talents and abilities, appear to have a genuine love for others, and know the value of an honest accounting. I see good things in their future.

The Seven Steps Foundation – Questions and Answers
Oprah Winfrey’s live online Facebook interview was quite engaging. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it (you can watch the recording on Facebook.) Oprah talked about her goal to help everyone become the highest and fullest expression of themselves. She shared that having a greater purpose, and knowing the bigger picture, helps her get through the difficulties and challenges. I believe in that. I know that the challenges and obstacles that keep piling on me can be overcome. I found it interesting that she encourages her employees to meditate, or to have a “quiet time,” twice each day, saying, “God lives in the space of stillness.”
I remember a specific moment, watching my grandmother hang the clothes on the line, and her saying to me, “you are going to have to learn to do this,” and me being in that space of awareness and knowing that my life would not be the same as my grandmother’s life. All of us have that space where we are willing to get still because the world will try to tell you everything about yourself and we have so many voices in our heads and in our Facebook pages telling us everything, but to know really what to do and how to be guided in your life you have to go to that space where the bigger you, the greater you, resides.
It appears that OWN, and other Oprah platforms, are committed to spreading light, truth, and inspiration. I hope that fun and laughter are included in the mix. Her desire to teach, encourage, and inspire are admirable. I desire to be the highest and fullest self that I can be. I am moving in that direction. I plan to keep track of what Oprah has to offer. I look forward to working with Oprah and OWN on a few new projects.
